The owner was very friendly and helpful, providing us with all the necessary information for our stay. the cabin was well equipped and maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. the beds were incredibly comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of work.
The driveway to the property was extremely narrow and could be a bit tricky to navigate without damaging your car. the cottage could use some maintenance as it was a bit outdated, and the bathroom had a bit of mold.

The location of the cottage is convenient, with a supermarket right across the street. One reviewer mentioned that the landlady left some eggs and bread, a nice gesture. the cottage has a small functioning kitchen, which is a bonus for those who want to cook their own meals.
The cleanliness of the cottage was not up to par, with one reviewer mentioning a damp smell and another finding crumbs of food left in the freezer.

The owner even left a thoughtful supply of coffee, tea, bread, and eggs, which was a lovely touch. Despite a slight hiccup during check-in, the owner quickly resolved the issue and made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The driveway was steep but manageable, and the provided instructions were very helpful. I highly recommend this accommodation for a cozy and enjoyable getaway.

During my recent stay, I had the opportunity to explore the charming surroundings of Palm Cottage. I must say, the location was absolutely delightful! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the picturesque scenery and the peaceful atmosphere that enveloped the property. It provided the perfect escape from the hectic pace of everyday life.
Although there were a few minor inconveniences, such as the lack of Wi-Fi and some issues with cleanliness, I found the overall experience to be quite pleasant. The cottage itself was cozy and well-equipped, allowing me to unwind and relax after a day of exploring.

Our stay at Palm Cottage was great value for money. The room was cozy and perfect for a couple, with comfortable sleeping arrangements. The location was convenient, being close to a large Tesco supermarket and within walking distance to the town centre and train station. We found the surrounding area to be interesting and enjoyable to explore. The staff at Palm Cottage were excellent, providing a warm welcome and ensuring our needs were met. The kitchen facilities were fantastic, allowing us to cook our own evening meals. The cottage was spotless and the big shower cubicle was a wonderful bonus. The only area for improvement would be the breakfast offerings.

The photog genius capturing pictures of this hidden gem shed, tucked away in the secret garden, was mind-blowing! The main bed was super cozy and ensured a restful sleep. The thoughtful supply of coffee, tea, bread, eggs, and more was a jaw-dropping touch, saving us from a bigger shopping spree. The warm and snug ambiance made it ideal for a short stay, and the owners' helpful tips on navigating the steep driveway were a lifesaver. The welcome pack, even though we didn't use it, was incredibly sweet, and having essentials like sugar, coffee, and oil on hand was a fantastic bonus. The clean and tidy accommodation met all our needs, and the fruit trees outside added a delightful touch. Though it could have been better cared for, the location for our business trip was superb. The availability of free Wi-Fi, an off-site car park, an electric kettle, cookware, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV was the icing on the cake. The fact that it's an adults-only retreat, close to a golf course and with an outdoor dining area, is a definite bonus. And as a non-pet owner, I appreciated the no-pet policy. Lastly, being a non-smoker, the no smoking rule made it even more pleasant.

Stayed at a lovely little lodge for 2 nights while visiting the university. Owners were accommodating with our late arrival. Excellent welcome pack of bread, milk, eggs, and butter. Compact cabin with a small kitchen and supermarket across the street. Hosts were friendly, bought us bread and butter, and even pointed out previous guests had left a mess. Could use a deep clean and touch of paint, but overall a great stay.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We had a lovely stay at Palm Cottage. The location was convenient, with a large Tesco supermarket nearby and an easy walk to the town centre and station. The surrounding area was also interesting to explore. The value for money was good, as we had everything we needed for our short stay. The accommodation itself was adequate, though we did expect a bit more for the money. One thing that stood out was the fruit trees outside, which added a nice touch to the property.

The comfort of the chalet was incredible, with spacious rooms and a cozy atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised to find a fridge filled with essential items and even tea, coffee, and cakes waiting for us. The attention to detail in the lodge was impressive, with everything we needed right at our fingertips. The food at the owner's son's pub was absolutely delicious, especially the homemade coleslaw. We felt welcomed and given privacy, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
